We send your proof
A designer works on your portrait and sends it back to you, usually within one to three days.
You approve or ask for changes
As many changes as you need, at no extra charge. Nothing is printed until you are happy.
We print and ship
Once you approve it, your portrait goes into production and ships out to you.
Every portrait is made to order, so give it room rather than ordering for a fixed date. Digital files skip printing and shipping entirely. Full timings are in the questions below.

What makes a good photo
You do not need a good camera. You need a clear look at your pet's face.
- Clear and well lit, with your pet's face in focus
- Natural light works better than a flash
- Taken at your pet's eye level rather than from above
- More than one photo helps, especially from different angles
- Avoid heavy filters, dark shots and anything blurry
- If we need a better photo, we will come back to you before we start
Questions
How long does the whole thing take?
Your order reaches a designer within a day. Your first proof comes back in one to three days. You then approve it or ask for changes, which takes up to three more days depending on what you want changed.
After you approve, printing takes three to five business days and shipping takes six to eight business days. About two weeks in total, up to twenty business days at the top of the range.
Can I ask for changes?
As many as you need, at no extra charge. We keep working on it until you are happy with the design, and nothing is printed until you approve it.
We do ask that you reply within five business days once your proof arrives, so your order does not sit waiting.
Can I have more than one pet in the portrait?
Yes, up to three. Two pets add $30 and three pets add $60 to the printed sizes. The digital file stays $49.95 whatever the pet count.
The 8" x 10" is the one exception. That size is for single pet portraits only.
What sizes can I get?
8" x 10", 12" x 16", 18" x 24" and 24" x 32", plus a digital file. The 24" x 32" comes on canvas only, and the 8" x 10" is single pet only.
Every printed size comes three ways: poster on paper, poster in a black or white frame, or canvas in a black or white frame.
How do I get my digital file?
By download link or email, once you have approved your proof. There is nothing to ship and nothing to wait for in the mail.
What photo should I send?
A clear, well lit photo showing your pet's face. Natural light is better than a flash, and eye level is better than shooting down at them. Sending a few from different angles helps.
If what you send is not going to work, we will come back to you before we start rather than after.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Customs fees, import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient, and delivery times vary by destination.
Can I order this as a memorial?
Yes. Memorial is one of the background options when you choose your portrait, so you can set it at the same time as everything else.
